AAMFT Approved Supervision

Dr. Annisa Pirasteh has been providing AAMFT Approved Supervision since 2017 and has supported many therapists on their journey toward full licensure. She specializes in cybernetic and systemically informed supervision, with attention to creativity in therapeutic practice. She actively attends to all parts and facets of what it means to be an autonomous clinician. In addition to clinical case conceptualization, treatment planning, and theory development, she spends considerable time with each of her supervisees on the person-of-the-therapist, career mentorship, and business development for clinicians striving to build their own private practice. Dr. Pirasteh currently only provides post-graduate supervision to associates in the state of Georgia only; she does not offer supervision for masters or doctorate students working to complete hours toward graduation. AAMFT Approved Supervision Mentorship

In addition to supervision services, Dr. Pirasteh also offers AAMFT Approved Supervision Mentorship, also known as “Supervision of Supervision”. Dr. Pirasteh recently completed a dissertation study on ways to enhance supervisory practices, with an emphasis on epistemology development, cybernetics, and creativity; she brings this expertise to the supervision mentorship relationship. She has a deep appreciation and understanding of a variety of therapeutic and supervisory modalities (both modern and postmodern) and challenges her mentees to incorporate cybernetic and systemic thought in their practice as supervisors and clinicians.
